The simple joy of life

The thoughts are running through my head
I am still alive, I am so glad
I feel, I love, I run so free
Is there anything more I could wish for me?

I reach my hand, up in the sky
the golden sun takes me high
the air I breath, the rain I feel
is this heaven, is this real?

But body is weak, on the floor I sleep
I hope to find something to eat
for drops of water, even some rain
that I wouldn't feel so much pain.

Sometimes I pray, not just for me
for all I love, for all I see
for some strength to live some more
In heaven I was born.

Again the thoughts are running through my head
I am still alive, I am so glad
I feel, I love, I run so free
thank you for the air that I can breathe.

Thank you

I've seen what you have made for me
and felt how true love was supposed to be
I've touched the stars in my dreams
they were my silent wings.

In my prayers you were with me
through my heart you let me see
how the touch of love can heal the pain
how life can be wonderful again.

There is no future, now I see
so little time has left for me
and when I lay myself to sleep
I thank you that I can breathe.

I turn to you

I have faith, I do believe
with all my heart I choose to breathe
the spirit is strong, can't be torn
I am blessed with being strong.

I lean my head on my knee
close my eyes, your picture I see
I keep you near, deep inside
from loving heart you cannot hide.

The tear is warm, the heart beat slow
the body is weak, but spirit grows
I turn to you, like never before
pray for help, won't make it alone.

I hear your voice deep inside
don't be afraid, I'll be your guide
wipe your tears, give all you need
just never, never cease to believe.

I have faith, I do believe
with all my heart I choose to breathe
the tear is warm, the heart beat slow
the body is weak, but spirit grows.

In your arms

You saw me standing all alone

your voice was gentle, the hand so warm

you leaned my head next to you

I felt beat, love so true.

The warmth flowed through my heart

instead of the dark there was light

you lifted me up, embrace

gave hope another chance.

The innocence in childrens eyes

The innocence in childrens eyes
the silence strike, it makes you cry
the tears flow deep inside your soul
you find the strenght and hide it all.

You see through the pain that is near
you call it my love, my child, my dear
you put a smile upon your face
on a heart where warmth left a sign, a trace.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All alone

I have no one, I am all alone

I lost my mother, father, my home

I haven't eaten for many days

my body's dirty and my face.

Something happened, I'm so weak

I can't even move, I cannot speak

the tears fall down, I hardly breathe

I just lay and go to sleep.

When I wake I hope to see

happy people all around me

the nature, all in green

mighty rivers in between.

The last shelter of my palms

From unbearable pain I'd fall on the ground
cry, pray to god
but I tear apart my soul, gather strength
give the last shelter of my palms.

A touch of small hands, a look into the eyes
a tear comes down, it hurts
I caress the face, sense the pulse
a tear comes down, a deep sigh follows.

A kiss on the forehead, another tear comes down
gently cradling you in my arms, looking into your eyes
a wound has opened; it struck me with pain
the fallen tear has broken the silence.
